About Us


Founded in 2009, HACER Ministry Corp is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization located in West Palm Beach, Florida. HACER (pronounced ah-sear) is the Spanish verb “to do.” This action-driven organization was created by a small group of volunteer business people, community leaders, and concerned citizens in direct response to the pressing needs they saw within their own community. The organization provides basic and emergency assistance to underserved members of the Palm Beach County community regardless of race, age, religion, sexual orientation, or ethnicity.

MISSION STATEMENT:
Our mission is to collaborate with individuals and organizations in our community to offer the relief and services that will lift people in need toward self-sufficiency.

VISION:
We envision a thriving community where all people have access to the resources they need to create a better life.

PURPOSE:
HACER works to provide nutritious food, safe and affordable housing, health education, and other basic emergency aid to underserved individuals and families in Palm Beach County.

​VALUES:
HACER is the Spanish verb “to do.” We are a small, grassroots organization that believes it is the responsibility of those who have more to pave the way for those who have less. We are committed to taking the action that is required to uplift all members of our community.

To provide affordable nutritious food to area individuals and families.
To provide safe, sanitary, and affordable housing opportunities to middle and low-income families and individuals.
To offer health education and promote health awareness in a culturally competent manner to members of our community.
