La Casita

The HACER Food Pantry became a reality in 2010 when the West Palm Beach Spanish Seventh Day Church generously provided a dedicated space to house our Food Pantry program. “La Casita,” (the small house), located at 2727 Georgia Ave, West Palm Beach, FL 33405, distributes healthy food every other Wednesday, and feeds over 350 families per month.
The Food Pantry program’s main objective is to make nutritious food available to those who live at or below the poverty level in West Palm Beach and surrounding communities. In addition to the food HACER purchases for the program, we receive donated food from Goya, the United Way, the USDA, Feeding South Florida, and the Palm Beach County Food Bank. In addition to providing food, HACER provides formula and diapers to low-income families with infants and babies in need.
HACER’s Food Pantry program also provides nutrition and health information, promoting improved nutrition awareness and healthy child development through nutrition and health practices.​
