Challenges to Conquer
HACER continually analyzes the needs within our community and looks for ways to provide assistance.
Here are some challenges that HACER is working to overcome.
Housing
Housing
- Low Income Housing - Acquire more properties and be able to assist more families by providing affordable housing alternatives.
- Emergency Shelter - Have the capacity to assist families and children in need of emergency short term housing.
Food
- Obtain a bigger warehouse- This will allow HACER to distribute more food to needy children and families.
Hot meals- HACER recognizes that immediate hunger is a great problem in our community. Therefore plans are in place to expand food pantry operations to include a kitchen where hot meals can be prepared and provided to hungry families and individuals.
