Health Education and Disease Prevention Center

HACER recognizes that there is a great need of accessible and practical healthcare services and education in the community of West Palm Beach. This is why HACER, with the help of The Spanish Seventh Day Adventist Church, Caridad Center, Mission Clinic and other healthcare organizations in the area have united their volunteers and their health services to provide a wide range of free health screenings and education to the community. 
The services end education provided range from blood pressure monitoring, testing for HIV, Hepatitis, Vision, Glucose, Urinalysis, and Body Mass Index to Blood Donations and Lead Testing for children as well as nutrition information and health awareness. These fairs became extremely valued and important to the community. For this reason, HACER has decided to go further and make this health services available twice a month thereby benefiting families in need, helping them become better informed of their health and nutritional needs and how to improve those needs.
