Thanksgiving 2016H.A.C.E.R. Ministry is a non-profit organization that was established in 2009 with the purpose of helping families in the community during financial crisis. We started this ministry in response to the overwhelming social and financial issues afflicting families in our community.
One of the largest components of our efforts is our food pantry. Our food pantry has helped thousands of families receive the basic nutrients for a healthy life. Between 65 and 100,000 pounds of food have been distributed, free of charge, by our organization annually. In addition, H.A.C.E.R. regularly hosts fairs to bring health, legal, and informational services to the community. We also own and manage residences for low to medium income families. Our annual Thanksgiving Dinner Event “Feast of Giving” on November 16, 2016 will distribute food packages to over 1000 Families. These food packages include canned and dry goods, fresh vegetables as well as a turkey – a complete Thanksgiving dinner for a family of four (4). Today, more than ever, we reach out to you hoping that you will help us help our families. We are asking for you to make a commitment to contribute twenty dollars ($20.00) a month for one year. This represents sixty-six ($0.66) cents per day. You may opt to write a check for two hundred forty dollars ($240.00) that would cover the contributions for 12 months. This will give us a steady income that would go a long way in the day to day operations of our organization.
